Fibrous Plaster Vaulted Ceilings

Cross Vaulted Ceilings, Barrel Vaulted Ceilings, Designed and Installed

Fibrous plaster vaulted ceilings are a cost effective alternative to vaults formed in situ using traditional lime plaster or modern plaster alternatives.

  • Ceilings involving cross vaults, barrel vaults, lunettes, pendentives and other features can be offered on any scale and with geometry and setting out to suit client requirements.
  • The Stevensons design service is available to develop your vaulted ceiling design and to produce workshop drawings for approval
  • The Stevensons installation service will install your vaulted ceiling together with any secondary metalwork to support it. Both will be fully detailed in our drawings.

Vaulted ceilings produced by Stevensons can be seen in public spaces, for example Trafalgar Square, as well as in private residences and public and listed buildings.

We also offer an in situ lime plaster vaulted ceilings service where fibrous plaster is not considered appropriate
