About This Project
- The National Trust decided to form a lath and plaster ceiling in the library of Felbrigg Hall. Their brief was that the ceiling was to be constructed using traditional methods.
- The ceiling bed was formed with three coats of lime plaster on a lath background. Applied in situ to the face of the ceiling was a design of plaster plain mouldings.
- Stevensons of Norwich are the only company licensed by the National Trust to manufacture decorative plasterwork and our National Trust range of cornices can be seen in our Online Store.
The project was completed on schedule and to budget and the National Trust expressed themselves satisfied with the outcome of the project.
