Stoke Rochford Hall : Lincolnshire
Lime plaster work and fibrous plaster work to the Library, Grand Hall, Turnor Room and Rochford Room following the catastrophic fire three years ago.
From the 17th to the mid 20th Century Stoke Rochford Hall was the country seat of the Turnor family.
The building now enjoys corporate and institutional use but recently suffered a catastrophic fire in which virtually all the magnificent early Victorian and highly decorated plasterwork in the principal rooms was lost.
The four main decorative ceilings are being replicated in fibrous plaster. The walls are being plastered in lime in the traditional way.
Stevensons of Norwich have been selected to carry out all these tasks to the highest standard because of their recognised expertise in this area of restoration and repair.
